  • Signet Mobs


    Unfortunately, if you didn’t have anguish access during the migration and you already turned in the signets it is possible that you lost a lot of effort/time. In order to assist bot armies, we increased the signet drop count to 3 and increased the chances of the drop to 100% off named NPCs. This is a little more like live anyways where you have the named dropping 6 signets at a time in the instances. We hope this helps the server population get to the end-game a little quicker as we really want to start opening up additional content which do require some OMM defeats.

  • Bastion of Thunder

    New Bastion of Thunder instance. The teleport pads don’t work currently, but the whole idea is to farm Glyph Runes or maybe do some xp. Agnarr, and most raid events will not be accessible until we implement lockouts. I did plan to keep the HoH trials in the instance though. Should allow bot armies to get a little practice in without setting up their own server.

    Also, quick disclaimer about instances. Please be careful you dont get 50+ instances across all your toons then enter all of them. I will probably implement some sort of limiter so that this doesn’t happen (only allows 1 instance creation per min), but for now, it would be possible and not exactly sure what would happen if you did it.

  • Instance Changes

    New Instance Agent added for Halls of Honor. These expeditions are basically copies of the open world versions of the zone with a couple exceptions. The doors leading to HoHb are gone. The exit door, will move you back to the instance NPC so that you can go back and forth with ease.

    Generally, here is how you would use these zones for experience groups. Hail the instance agent NPC and say ‘instance’ on the raid/group leader (the people who need to enter the zone either have to be in a group or raid up to 54). Once everyone is in the expedition, you can tell the NPC ‘ready’ to be transported into the instance. You can exit the instance by /dzquit and waiting or by clicking the zoneout door near the entrance. Instances are currently set to 6h. I may change this if we get low on zones. Please report bugs with /bugreport.

  • Instance Test

    Testing instance creation NPC. This NPC will create an instance for the crypt of decay zone. Carprin and Bertox trigger mob do not spawn in this instance and should be a good test for doing experience runs without taking over the zone. Please provide feedback via bug report or discord.

    Couple of items to note:
    Throne chair will actually bring you back to public zone so if you head downstairs just know that you aren’t in the instance anymore.

    Leaving the zone and zoning back in will return you to the public zone as well. The only way back in is to run back to the instance agent and say ‘ready’.

    You will have to create a raid to get everyone into the zone, but can disband once you are inside to create xp groups.

  • Inventory Syncs

    If you syncronized your character after Oct 15 (when the EQEmu Server was updated) you will need to resync in order to properly get all of your inventory and augs applied properly. I did fix alot of the augs, but some of these augs were applied to invis aug slots. In addition, the inventory slots for non-equipped gear was modified so the inventory in your bags might be missing due to this change. This is easily fixed by performing another sync, logging out, and waiting 15 mins.

    UPDATE:

    Most of these augs were able to be fixed in the database without needing another sync. If you are having issues and a sync isnt a great option for you, please submit a /bugreport.

  • LDoN Wayfarer quest

    The Wayfarer flag was granted to approximately 400+ characters that had the stone in their inventory. The Wayfarer faction was also granted to the same number of characters.

    We have fixed approximately 30+ bugs. Some of these bugs existed in PEQ and were never resolved there. Please continue to submit /bugreport items so we can make this server as reliable as possible. Once all the raid mobs have been conquered a few times and the zones are looking stable, we can look at opening additional content.

  • Bug fixes

    Nektulos Forest was crashing when mobs were fleeing. This was corrected on the server. RSS King/Queen have now worked for several encounters with no issues. If you do king, make sure queen is down because queen mobs tend to aggro during king event (will look into this soon).

  • Encounters

    Work on encounters has been the focus today. RSS King/Queen event was bugged just like PEQ. However, made some adjustments to the encounter spawn and was able to complete multiple times without orbs/bombs spawning in floor or ceiling (this was effectively happening because the encounter lost track of portals). If for some reason an orb/bomb does spawn in one of those locations, it will log it as a quest defect and will depop so the event will still be able to be completed. Either way, its going to work or just be bugged in a way that is hopefully still manageable. Plan to work on some other encounters but no others have been reported as bugged. Keep using /bugreport!

  • Zone Spawns Updated

    Wall of Slaughter, Bloodfields, Proving Grounds, and RSS spawns were thinned out. If you see issues with duplicate spawns, select the duplicate spawn, and do a /bugreport with Target Info and pick NPC as the category so that we can address those quickly.

  • DoN/OOW Updates

    Busy day today. Hopefully fixed the last remaining issues with Anguish including loot chests and adds on OMM/AMV. Will need feedback. Also gave everyone who opted into backups ally faction for those Omen T1/T2 turnins (no grinding needed). DoN Delveb zone should be fixed (no weird spawns in open-world) as well as instances. I did not have time to test all 6 missions but a couple of them seemed to be ok. Oh and “Sleeper” was put back to sleep. Please continue to use /bugreport feature as those are prioritized first.
